I'll admit that I didn't plan ahead for our date. It was my turn & I failed to come up with something creative & special. I'll blame it on a crazy day with 4 children (1 not my own). By the time the kids were FINALLY in bed & sleeping, I almost gave up the idea of a "date night" altogether...that's when I remembered that Tiffany @ Simply Modern Mom had made a PDF with some great flashcards for a game called First Words.
I printed them off & we spent the evening learning a few new things about one another. Such fun since we met when we were 12 & 13 (16 years ago!) Chris really enjoyed the game so that was an added bonus. I'm excited to see what he comes up with this week! :)
