My Baby is 11 Months!

Has it really been 11 months since we welcomed our newest addition?! The time has gone by so quickly that it feels like yesterday & has me feeling the need to sit next to her crib to watch her sleep. It really does go too quickly.
I've been busy planning her 1st birthday party & it's coming together nicely! Etsy has become one of my new favorite websites because you can find such unique items to make any occasion perfect. So far I have ordered her dress, invites, birthday banner, door hanger & cake toppers. I came across this cupcake theme & fell in love...perfect! Now to decide on the cake!
Here are a few of Alyssa's 11 month photos. I'm so glad that I decided to compare her size to this giant polar bear (even if it's a pain to store him in the closet!) I promise to post all 12 photos next month :) Don't you just want to kiss her up?!

Mackenzie & Preston are doing wonderfully. This morning I sent Kenzie to school in a dress up wedding dress, tiara & sparkly shoes. It pained me to do such a silly thing but she insisted that for "handsome/pretty day" that she HAD to wear it. We did spiral curls in her hair & I think she stood & admired herself for a good 10 minutes before we pushed her out the door :) We went to her conferences a few weeks ago & were given a wonderful report. On a scale of 1-3 for each subject, Kenzie is receiving all 3's (the best). She is also reading well above grade level & will be tested in the next few weeks to make sure they have her taking home the right books. We are very proud :)

Preston is a bundle of B.O.Y! I could list the many adventures that we have had but it might just possibly make me look like a bad parent. Let's just say that he has NO fear & is constantly on the move. Sweet as ever...I can't believe he's almost 3! Today was the nicest day we've had so far this spring & we took a trip to the park. It was SO windy but we managed to have fun anyways!

I also just realized that I've been lacking on Make a Difference Monday. Being Monday, I'm going to do my part. How about you?! I'd love to hear how you made a difference today!
