Day 18: Wedding Talk

We were married November 15, 2003 in the church that my husband grew up attending. Our original plan was to get married in the chapel at the Bible Camp where we met & my hubby grew up but we were set on our date & the camp already had an event taking place. My dress was a white 2 piece, very simple but flowy with the perfect size train. I wore a veil on the back of my head with a princess tiara. My flowers were dark red roses, day lilies & a few others (not so good with flower names). Our groomsmen wore black tuxes with black vests & ties...Chris wore a black tux with a white vest & tie & my bridesmaids wore black & white, strapless dresses. Their flowers were similar to mine but smaller. My bouquet was HUGE. Not exactly what I had in mind but it was still very pretty. I walked down the isle to Cannon in D & my hubby sang "I Will Be Here" by Stephen Curtis Chapman.
We had a small reception in the basement of the church with just over 100 guests. Wonderful day, wonderful memories & an even more wonderful husband of almost 8 years!
