Day 16: Let's Talk Crazy

Today we're supposed to share the crazy things that we've done in our life. Hmmm...

Why don't I start with this one. My cousin & I decided one evening that we should take a little road trip. She had just turned 16 & had her license but I'm fairly certain that I only had my permit. Anyways...I came up with the idea that we should drive to visit Chris (he was my mega crush) & only lived an hour & a half away. We get to his exit & I chickened out! Since we'd already driven a good 30 minutes, we pressed on...the next city was only another 30 minutes away. We made it! BUT we didn't stop there. Oh no we didn't. We decided to drive to Canada. CANADA. It was only another hour away & wouldn't it be SO fun to say "we drove to Canada!"? Keep in mind that it was already dark out, we were 15 & 16 & no parents had any clue where we were. We get to the border (success!) & the border patrol asks us why we are going into Canada. A legit question, right? We had no answer. Eventually we said that we needed gas. STUPID. So he makes us get out of the car & then proceeds to search it. AND THEN HE CALLED OUR PARENTS. We had to turn around (but we DID in fact enter Canada!) & go home.
I don't remember the punishment but we were in a heap of trouble. Haha.

Here's another good one for your entertainment.

I was somehow convinced by an ex-boyfriend that it would be a great idea to skinny dip in Lake Superior. So, we road tripped a few hours & did just that. We parked in some parking garage & walked down to the path behind a bunch of hotels, went behind some giant rocks, got naked & ran! It was FREEZING but probably the craziest thing I've ever done. Probably could have gone to jail for that one.

I'll leave it at that. I'm sure I could add a few more but those are a few of the craziest :)
