My Baby is ONE!

Our baby girl turned 1 on Thursday & I can hardly believe that an entire year has already passed. You would think that having gone through this 2 times before that I would come to the realization that time really does fly...yet here I am, feeling a bit of sadness at the fact that the tiny baby we brought home from the hospital just one year ago is now a walking, babbling, big people food eating ONE year old!
We are having her family/friend party later this afternoon but I felt the need to bake her a cake on her actual birthday as well. It turned out pretty cute (after the first one wouldn't come out of the pan & 2 trips to the grocery store). The kids all enjoyed digging into the cake with their fingers & Alyssa was on a serious sugar rush for most of the evening. You're only 1 once, right?!
