We've been planning this very important birthday party for months now. From the beginning she knew that she wanted a Hannah Montana party which I found amusing given the fact that she hasn't been allowed to watch her show until about a month ago. After trying to get her to change her mind a handful of times, I agreed. Living in an apartment (wearethisclose to getting our house!) we decided that Chuck E. Cheese was a better setup for 9 little girls to let out their energy. I got there 45 min. early (alone, with 3 children) to get things set up. My mom picked up the balloons (which was a disaster...the balloons, not my mom) & the pizza arrived shortly before the girls started to arrive. Everything went just as planned. The girls shrieked & hugged each time a new friend showed up. They played games, ate pizza & pink cupcakes & opened gifts. Chuck E. Cheese even made an appearance mid-party (Preston hid under the table). I was proud of the way things turned out & Mackenzie thanked us for "the best birthday ever" on the ride home. Success!

Mackenzie is 6!
We welcomed our first baby into the world just 6 years ago & it has truly been the best 6 years of my life. I always knew that I wanted to be a mom & God blessed us with an amazing, caring, twirling, singing & dancing sweetheart. It amazes me that she is already 6 because I literally blinked & here we are.
