For Chris' 30th Birthday, I surprised him with tickets to a Newsboys concert. We grew up listening to them & Chris went to a few of their concerts back in the day so when he mentioned that they were coming to town, I knew it would be the perfect gift. I stumbled upon a Facebook fan page for the organization that deals with the concert tickets & they were giving away 3 VIP passes for each show. I have horrible luck when it comes to winning anything but I figured I'd give it a shot anyways. 2 days before the concert, I received an email stating that I had WON! The VIP passes included pre-show meet & greet, autographed CD, VIP seating & early entrance to the venue. I was SO excited :)
We got there a few hours before the concert (thanks to the vip perk) & they took us backstage where we waited to meet them. Rather than the CD (which they ran out of), we were given a poster...not exactly sure where we'll hang that up but it was a nice gesture. We snapped a few photos with them & headed to our seats which turned out to be awesome. Michael Tait was THISCLOSE to us & our pictures turned out great! We really had a fun night & doing something out of the ordinary made it even more special. Here are a few photos!
