Five Question Friday

So, like I said in my previous post, I'm not the greatest at coming up with blogging topics. Basically I chat about my children & life as a stay at home mom. I totally understand that it can get boring so I thought I'd spice things up a bit by doing a few different posts on top of my regulars. In addition to "Inquiring minds want to know", I found this super fun idea called "Five Question Friday". Each Friday brings a set of new questions...along with my answers! I'd love for you to copy & paste to your own blog but be sure to answer my questions under the comment section as well!

So...onto the questions!

1. Do you know what your REAL hair color is?

2. Do you plan ahead for summer, or fly by the seat of your pants?

3. What is your favorite meal to cook?

4. Do you get offended by not receiving thank yous?

5. How did you meet your best friend?

Here are my responses!

1. My real hair color is very dark brown. Similar to the color it is now. I don't think I've had my regular hair color since about 8th grade when I decided to try & color it with a box. Blonde was my color of choice which obviously wasn't going to work...and it ended up turning orange.

2. For the most part, I'm a fly by the seat of my pants kinda girl. Spontaneity is so much more fun & makes life exciting! I guess I figure that the school year is always planned out & routine so summer should be a time to relax & do whatever!

3. If I could have a chef prepare my meals for the rest of my life, I'd be all for it. I honestly don't enjoy cooking at all. I don't feel that I'm very good at it & have to follow a recipe to the exact measurements in order to feel like it will taste like it's supposed to. Therefore, I don't have a favorite!

4. My parents always made me write thank yous. I think they are a wonderful idea but hate having to write them out for my kids. Mackenzie is finally to an age where she can write them herself but I feel silly writing them for my younger two. My other issue is that we never receive them from anyone else so sometimes it seems pointless.

5. My best friend is my hubby. We met at bible camp when I was 15 (he was 16). I was in love the very moment I laid eyes on him (no joke!) We've been married for 7 years & I still get butterflies :)
