I have absolutely loved the fact that Alyssa has curly hair. It's been so much easier to work with than Mackenzie's hair was at that age & the fact that I can just get it wet & scrunch is a huge time saver(like when we're running late for church...again). The only problem is that baby hair seems to grow super slowly on the top & sides which has left our little beauty with a rather scraggly lookin' mullet. So, we took her in for her first haircut this morning & it looks super cute. We have this great salon for kids right by our house & even though you pay an arm & a leg to get 1 inch cut off, the kids always seem to enjoy it. She sat very still & looked at a book & got a sucker when she was done for being such a big girl :)

Aww so cute! I hear you about the mullet. Hallie has had hers for quite awhile now but I'm not quite sure how to fix it!
ReplyDeleteSuch a little cutie!
ReplyDeleteDon't feel bad about the price - we've taken the kids to MJ Capelli's, and it's not much cheaper - a couple bucks, maybe. And for Leah's hair (that inverted stacked bob) I just don't think they do as good of a job.
ReplyDeleteOf course, they do give kids a sucker AND a token for the toy machine, so of course the kids would rather go there now.
Cute hair, baby girl!
