First was my cousin Meagan's baby shower that my sister & I put on the last weekend in June. Since my sister lives in CO, I tried to get as much planning done as possible by myself. Once she arrived, we were in a frantic state to get the rest of the decor & games figured out. In the end...SUCCESS! We did a "Family Tree" theme & it was awesome. (my camera broke so there are no photos to prove it).

My sister & her kiddos were here for 10 days. Sounds like a long visit but was definitely not long enough. I wish she was my neighbor. Her visit was jam packed with fun activities for the kids, including a trip to the zoo, pool, state park/swimming, ice cream, shopping & sleepovers. The kids had a blast & it was so great to see my sis.

Which brings us to this past weekend full of red, white & blue fun! :)
The first annual 4th of July bash was held at Chris' brother's house. All brother's & their families were in attendance, including my in-laws. We grilled, soaked up the sunshine (it's rare around here!), swam in the pool, watched the kids on the giant slip-n-slide & did a beautiful display of fireworks.

It's been a great summer so far but it's definitely going by too quickly!
**Not sure why the pics are uploading so small!**

It was SUPER fun seeing you guys this weekend.
