Our Big Boy is Three!

I'm just about a week late in posting this but I haven't had much time to sit & blog the past few days. Today isn't ideal either because the sun is FINALLY shining & it's 80 degrees but the kids are napping so I have a few minutes to relax...phew!

Preston turned three last Friday & we celebrated his special day with a Bob the Builder party. We've been talking about this party for months but have flip-flopped between a John Deere, Handy Manny & Bob the Builder theme because all three are his favorite. After doing some searching online & at local party stores, I found that Bob the Builder is no longer a popular item & Handy Manny seems to be on its way out as well. Because I could still find some Handy Manny items, we decided that's what we'd go with. He loves to build things & play with his tools so he was satisfied. Days before his party, my mom called me from Delaware & said she had found all sorts of Bob party supplies! A quick change of plans & I scrambled to get plates, napkins & cups, decorate his cake & find some balloons. The final product turned out great & he loved it!

Some of our family went to Space Aliens for dinner & then we headed home to eat cake & open gifts. He had a blast!
Has it really been 3 years since we brought this little boy home from the hospital?! His energy & smile are contagious & there is never a dull moment when he's around. He's a great big & little brother...we are truly blessed that God chose us to be his parents. Happy Birthday Preston Christopher!
