We've lived here for 7 years & have never gone to the fair that comes to town once a summer! I suppose we just figured that the kids were too little the past few years & wouldn't enjoy it but why we never made it a date...I don't know. We took the kids on Sunday & had a blast! Chris went to his first state fair with me & my family the year we were married & although that one makes ours look pretty sad, they had quite a few rides (both adult & child), tons of yummy food (we had corndogs on a stick, cotton candy & lemonade) & plenty of entertainment to keep us busy for 4+ hours! I often complain that there aren't enough activities in our little city but it keeps life simple & it makes special events even more fun.
