Project 52: 5th Date (Would You Rather)

We have been slacking on date night the past few weeks & I was SO happy to finally get back into it. Chris was out of town the past 2 weekends which meant I was alone with all 3 kiddos & desperately needing some time with my hubby. I guess I read the directions to Project 52 wrong, so we've been taking turns weekly coming up with date ideas. No big deal...makes it a little easier! This week was my turn & I really wanted to come up with something fun yet relaxing. We have both wanted to see The Blind Side given the rave reviews so I stopped to pick it up on Friday morning (because who actually thinks to rent a movie in the morning?!) I printed the PDF for the "Would You Rather" game & picked up a few yummy snacks. The evening turned out to be lots of fun & it was amusing to hear our answers to such silly questions...

Me: Would you rather change 10 poopy diapers in a row or eat an entire pound of chocolate?
Chris: Oh, I'd eat the chocolate.

Chris: Would you rather give a speech in front of a football stadium full of people or crawl in the city sewage?
Me: Definitely the sewage!

We're heading to Colorado for a week & I'm hoping to come up with a few more of these questions to pass the time! Happy dating! :)

  1. That sounds like such a fun game - good idea for a car journey too. Will now go and print it out!

Weekends on your own just aren't fun. Hope you've got company for the next ones xo

  2. so funny - love the questions! UHG - My hubby has to travel out of town, even out of the country a lot but thankfully not that much on weekends - they seem to go by MUCH slower. Hope you liked the movie - I really enjoyed it. Great looking family!

  4. Stacie/Chris -

Emily and I randomly stumbled on your blog after we found an old Christmas card that contained the web address -- funny! Anyway, just wanted to shoot a quick message to say hi and that we hope you are both -- er, that all 5 of you are -- well! Happy birthday to Chris (tomorrow).

Give us a shout next time you are in the cities visiting.

    Peace.
    Nate
