Our precious baby girl is already 1 month old! I remember thinking that time went quickly with the other two kiddos but it seems to have gone even more quickly this time around. Alyssa has been such a blessing to our family & is a wonderful baby! She literally slept 24/7 for the first 2.5 weeks of her life. We maybe heard her cry a total of 3 times...2 of which were during bilirubin blood draws (poor baby!) The past few weeks have been spent just getting to know her, trying to get some type of routine going & adjusting to life with 3 children. It REALLY has not been as bad as some people make it out to be. She has been very easy going and still spends a majority of her day sleeping. She loves to be held & will let you know she wants to be picked up if we take too long. I have recently purchased a Moby wrap which is going to be WONDERFUL! I'm excited to have two hands to get some things done around the house. Thanks Crystal!
Mackenzie & Preston have been great helpers & we haven't had to deal with much sibling jealousy issues...phew! They both like to hold her & give kisses although we still need to work with Preston once in awhile on sitting still & being gentle.
Overall, we can't complain!
I am so excited to see what these next few months will bring. :)
I can't believe she's already a month!! That means Kam's almost a month too:( Time sure is flying. Alyssa is just getting more and more beautiful!

ReplyDeleteI can't believe she is already a month old. She is just adorable. I showed the pictures to Ry and the kids and they loved the ones with Kenzie and Preston and Alyssa. They thought Preston was being silly. We miss you guys lots. Take care. Love ya
