I'm not exactly sure why I haven't been in more of a rush/panic to get things all set for the baby but here we are, 46 days (or less) & I'm just starting to get things in order. I'll blame most of it on the fact that we don't know the gender, which means I have no reason to go shopping. I've picked up a few really good deals here & there because I figure I can use them for gifts if we don't need them but looking in the closet is seriously sad. The other 3 kids had an entire closet packed full WAY before their arrival. Guess this baby will just be super spoiled after the fact.
Chris started painting the baby's room last night & once that's finished, we'll get the crib put together & move the changing table from our room into the nursery. The car seat is washed & ready to go but I have to pick up this ADORABLE cover that I'm having made (pics to come!) The co-sleeper is in our room but I just realized that I need to buy the leg extensions because our mattress is too high...lovely. Add to that a few new towels, some wipes & ONE pack of diapers & I'm starting to get a little anxious.
I'm starting to regret our decision to not find out the gender. It's definitely more fun to know ahead of time so you can prepare! At the same time, I know that the excitement of arrival day is going to be awesome.
