We are absolutely loving our new house. Sure, it still has a gazillion little projects yet to be done but we have been slowly plugging away & things are definitely coming together. Chris has been out of town the past few weekends & I've become quite the do-it-yourselfer...starting with painting the garage. I wasn't sure how big of a task it would be but the weather was gorgeous so I threw on my painting clothes & spent the afternoon with brush in hand while my mom took the kids to a fall festival (thanks mom!) The end result turned out great (of course). Much better than the ugly dark brown that it used to be! What do you think?!
Our next big project is to finish the landscaping in the front yard. We found an awesome deal on junipers at Lowe's about a month ago & my mom transplanted a few hastas for us so we have a few plants to get us started. Now to lay the brick edging & mulch. Can't wait to see how it looks when it's done because those hastas are looking pretty sad right about now!
My plan for the weekend is to paint the master bathroom. It's a pretty tiny bathroom so it shouldn't take me too long...I hope! Pictures (hopefully) to come on Monday!
