So I've decided that I want to try blogging more often. Not sure how long it will last but I've been browsing other blogs the past few days & realized that most blogs are just ramblings about nothing important. Not that I want to be exactly like one of those blogs...I just want a fun place to journal the craziness that is life as a family of 5, our newest home improvements & the little things we do each day to make the world just a little bit better. I can do that...and I'd love your encouragement (ie: leave a comment!) So, without further ado...
Our weekend was wonderful! Typically, the weather in ND is one temperature. C.O.L.D! Since we moved into our house I have been dying to paint the front door & garage because the ugly brown color bothered me every single time we'd pull into the driveway. With Chris out of town and the weather absolutely gorgeous, I decided to paint it myself! My to my surprise, it was easy & fun. Best of all, it turned out fabulous & totally brightens up the house. Much like the rest of the planet, I love the weekends but despise Monday's. I despise Monday's SO much in fact, that I find myself starting to feel crabby on Sunday's just thinking about it! This got me thinking about "Make a difference Monday". I've participated in the past & have encouraged Mackenzie to do something to make a difference during her day as well.
