We have had a very busy couple of days with family! It feels good to be able to sit around & relax but bittersweet because everyone has gone home. Hopefully they will be able to come & visit again soon!
We spent Christmas Eve with my dad's side of the family at my aunt & uncle's house. The lutefisk was excellent(Mackenzie asked for more!) although not every family member was in agreement about the taste. The meatballs & lefse were tasty too. Christmas is a wonderful holiday for a pregnant lady! :)
Christmas morning sent us to see Chris' family. More gifts, food & fun with the cousins. The kids were exhausted & slept the whole way back. Christmas night was spent with my mom, sister & her family. The kids got matching pj's & we took quite a few pictures of them since they looked so cute! Dinner consisted of prime rib which Chris was thrilled about. Definitely a different taste than the lutefisk!
