I came across this great blog that has a giving challenge for the month of November. Basically, the goal is to do something each day to bless friends, family, neighbors or complete strangers by making a conscious effort to give each day. If you join up on Facebook, they give little ideas each day in case you're having a hard time coming up with ideas. I started a few days late but no big deal...join in anytime! I plan to update my blog every couple days to let you know what we've been up to.

The kids & I made a pan of brownies & colored pictures to deliver to the fire station near our house. The guys were definitely surprised when we showed up with treats for them! They were very grateful & gave us a tour of the station. The kids also got to climb into the truck, try on a helmet & the fireman giving us the tour put on all his fire gear (even the oxygen tank & mask!) The kids had a great time & it was a lot of fun!
*I took some great pictures with Chris' phone but can't figure out how to send them to my email!*

Today I sent an email to a childhood friend that has a daughter with some health issues. I know that she's been going through a rough time & I wanted to let her know that I was thinking of her & praying for her daughter.
I also stopped on my way out of the grocery store parking lot to move a cart that someone had left right in the middle of the only way in/out. Normally I would have just driven around it but made a conscious decision to pull over & move the cart. Not a big deal but it was late at night & someone probably would have run into it.
Want to join the challenge?! I'd love to hear what great ways you're making an impact in your area! **The link is in my sidebar!**
