Make a Difference Monday!

I was listening to KLOVE on the radio last Sunday & they were talking about Make a Difference Monday. Kenzie & I were on the way to lunch for some "big girl bonding time" & I thought it would be a great thing to talk with her about. She loves doing things for people & thought we should participate! We tried to come up with a few ideas & have started putting them into action! Today I delivered an ice cold Mt. Dew & chocolate chip muffin to a fellow mom that was stranded in her house due to the blizzard. I'm a risk taker so I ventured out to brighten her day :) It was so much fun. I encourage you to make a difference in someone's life too!

There is nothing that warms your heart quite like someone lifting you up when you need it. With every Make A Difference Monday at K-LOVE, we’re hoping that you’ll be looking for ways to encourage someone. Your simple act of kindness extended to a friend, a co-worker or even a perfect stranger may be the very thing that God uses to remind them that you care about them, and more importantly that God cares about them.

Jesus asked all of us who believe to, “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in Heaven” (Matt. 5:16).

Little ways that you can Make a Difference could be:

* Buying someone a cup of coffee in line behind you at Starbucks
* Buying someone lunch in line behind you at the drive thru
* Writing someone an encouraging note
