The children were nestled all snug in their beds

We have had a relaxing day today & for that I am thankful. We are at my in-laws for Christmas this year & spent much of the day relaxing in the house by the wood stove. We headed to the Christmas Eve service around 5:00 & all 3 kids sat quietly the entire service...Alyssa napping on Chris' shoulder. Before bed this evening, Mackenzie sprinkled oats out in the snow for the reindeer & left a plate of cookies & some milk for Santa. I am anxiously waiting to fill their stockings full of goodies & am even more anxious to see their precious faces fill with joy when they wake tomorrow morning to celebrate Jesus' birthday!
